[Jararvellir] Another Sunday Archery Practice at Gillemichael's

  Hi all!  Gillemichael has invited us back to his place again for a
practice this Sunday, August 27th.  The directions and general info are the
same as last time.  Also, we're looking at September 10th as the next
travelling practice, and might be doing a two-day practice (9th and 10th)
for those who want to camp.  Let me know at practice if this would work out
for you, so I can tell him how many folks would be showing up on that
Saturday vs that Sunday.

  If you need to get a ride, or have space for a rider, either post the
jaralist or talk to me at practice please.  It would be great to get as many
of us there as possible, since there are some shooting opportunities we
can't recreate in the stock pavillion (clout, shooting off the porch, etc.)
That and it's a darned good time.

  I will talk to the other marshals at practice tonight to get a sense of
who can & can't go, and post to the list whether or not our usual practice
at the SP will occur.  Sorry if you get this twice, I'm not always sure
who's on the jaralist and who isn't.

*Directions:*
>From Interstate 90/94 (or highway 12/16 in Camp Douglas) take the Camp
Douglas exit (Interstate Exit # 55)
turn North towards the Main Gate of Volk Field ANG base
After about 100', turn east (right) on County hiway "C"
go about 2 1/2 miles to stop sign
turn right (south) on 6th Ave
go 6/10 ths mile and turn left (east) into my driveway

Large pale yellow-siding house with steep, green roof, just before the first
trees on left (east).

*Agenda:*
1000 - 2100  Archery practice.
1200 - 1300 picnic lunch / pot luck if anyone wants
I have 2 full kitchens and a BBQ for anyone that wants to cook / warm up
food
(please bring your own outside chair,... I have trestle tables)

*Archery Specifics:*
My house is on 4 acres surrounded by farm land.  I can safely accomodate up
to 100 yards shooting.

*NOTES:*
I have 3 Newfoundland dogs.  They are big and hairy and slobber *a LOT!*
They are very friendly, and will try to drool on you.
If you are allergic or offended by doggy drool (let alone dog hair *
everywhere*,...) you may want to reconsider coming.
P.S.  I also have ticks, but not too bad this year.
