[Jararvellir] Boar's Head: Kristkindlmarkt and Baronial Investiture

  Boar's Head is in a couple of days at the Washington County Fair Park. The weekend weather forecast for West bend, WI is promising. Friday: Sunny 28/20. Saturday: Mostly Sunny 34/27. Sunday Mostly Cloudy 38/31. 
   
  We have a fun filled day planned. There will be armored combat, rapier, and youth combat tournaments. There will be classes for all ages. We will have singing and dancing. In keeping with our Christmas market theme, there will be merchants and a silent auction, benefiting the Northshield Royal Travel Fund. 
   
  And what would a Boar's Head be without feast. Our feast stewards have prepared a wonderful "Taste of Summer in Winter." We have increased the number of feast tickets available and will have some available for sale at the gate. To add to the pomp and pageantry of the feast area, we invite everyone to bring their banners with banner stands. 
   
  House Gray Fox is selling lunch from 11-2 and will have snacks for sale to hold people over between lunch and feast. The Fair Park beverage service will be serving from 11 am to 9:30 pm. Please remember, no outside food or beverages are allowed, except for infants and those with medical needs.
   
  This is a very special Boar's Head for Caer Anterth Mawr. After 18 years of exceptional service, Their Excellencies, Valerius and Alice are stepping down as Baron and Baroness. Baroness Kateryn of Cornwall and THL Alasdair Calum Montgomery will be invested into office. Please be sure to visit the baronial presence throughout the day. The four of them will be there at various times.
   
  The Royal Families of both Northshield and the Middle Kingdom will be in attendance. A very full court is planned. The Jararvellir Music Guild will provide a small concert before court.
   
  I've had a couple of inquiries about Toys for Tots in the past week. Sadly, that noble endeavor was overlooked this year, and there will not be a drop-off barrel at Boar's Head. I encourage you all to contribute  to this or another charitable organization in your hometowns this holiday season.
