Some of you may recall the "Period IKAC Challenge" I issued last
week, encouraging folks to come to last week's Archery practice at
the Stock Pavilion, and jin us in shooting the Inter-Kingdom Archery
Challenge.

We had such a good time that we've decided to do it again... and to
add some Thrown Weapons into the mix!

As we haven't done thrown weapons in a while, we will be starting
with Thrown Weapons at 12 noon on Sunday. We have loaner axes,
knives, and spears for folks to play with. For those interested in a
bit of competition, we will be encoruing folks to try the Thrown
Weapons Inter-kingdom Challenge, or TWIC (the TW version of Archery's
IKAC) - but no one is required to compete, folks are welcome to just
come and throw whatever they like...

This week, we will start shooting the IKAC at 2 PM, with the goal of
finishing by 4 or 5 PM at the latest. Once again, we will have
loaner bows and arrows, including gear that can be used to shoot the
Period Division IKAC, if you are interested.

For those who would like to just shoot archery for a short while, you
can come shoot while others are shooting the IKAC. If we have enough
marshals, we may even have some archery from 12-2, while we're doing
TW - but we will have to see who shows up.

We will have the Stock Pavilion until 6 PM on Sunday, so if folks are
interesting in sticking around, we may play with combat arrows, or
staff slings, or even do a little more TW. Of course, since many
folks may have Big Plans for the evening, we may just pack it in
after the IKAC... but we'll see.

Hope to see some of you this Sunday,

With best wishes for a Happy New Year to all, I remain,

Jack
