Greeting to all who walk these Halls!

As we all unpack and begin to recover from WW XIII, it
is time to thank all those who made this event
special. (Warning! I am not a concise person...)

To Rosanore and Seraphina, our lovely autocrats, thank
you for your endless hours of hard work in planning
and organizing this event. I hope the event proceeded
as calmly for you as you made it seem to all those who
saw you. A thousand thanks are not enough!

To the crew chiefs - no matter how wonderful, capable,
and energetic our two spectacular autocrats may be,
this event cannot happen without the dedicated work of
those of you who choose to serve as crew chiefs. Thank
you for planing exciting challenges, providing
delightful activities, and ensuring that participants
in your activities were happy and safe.

To all the volunteers, from Jara, Nordskogen, and so
many, many other places - yours are the hands what do
the countless unsung tasks that make the event
possible. Whether it be carrying benches, filling
water jugs, teaching classes, walking security,
sitting troll, or any other volunteer activity, your
contribution is most appreciated. Thank you for taking
the time out of your playtime to make this event
happen!

To Their Excellencies Nordskogen, Rodrigo and Khadijah
- As usual it was a pleasure to have this opportunity
to work with you and to further strengthen the bond
between our Baronies. Thank you for buying into some
of my crazy schemes and also for picking up the slack
when I was unexpectedly on vigil for a critical part
of the event. It is a pleasure and a joy to serve with
you both.

A special thank you to all those who personally helped
me out in my official duties: Stephen, Sarah, Ambrose,
Alisende, Alexander, Chiere Nichole, Alienor, Sarra,
Marian Elizabeth, Eliane, Giovanna, Leona, Robert, all
the Jara champions who stood in the courts, and any
others who are escaping me at this moment. Thanks also
to those who graciously volunteered for shifts that
needed filling when I asked, often on short or no
notice and also for those who then encouraged their
friends to pick up additional shifts as well.

*deep breath*

Now, this year, WW had a special surprise component,
and I want to thank all of you who were involved in
making this a memorable event for me. First, thanks to
Josceline, who organized the vigil room space and
refreshments and has long been my friend, mentor, and
guide - thank you will never be enough! Thanks to TRM
Lars and Mary, for doing the elevation at an event
where so very many of my friends from Jararvellir and
across Northshield could be there. To Cainnech,
Cinniu, Mairghread, and Tarik, thank you for the
"gotcha!" and for the many previous episodes of
exuberant geeking out that made it believable. Thank
you to Chandler, Cainnech, and Cinniu for begging the
boon for me, and to AEsa, Raito, Sigfried, Shava, and
Mateo for speaking for me during my ceremony, even on
short notice - your kind words made the day that much
more meaningful. Thank you to Danr, Rosanore, and
others who made sure that there was not only
spectacular cheese at my vigil, but spectacular
*period cheese*! Simply happiness on a plate! To
everyone who came and saw me at my vigil, wrote in my
vigil book, or otherwise congratulated me on being
Laureled, thank you for your support and words of
wisdom!

I know I am missing people, but I'm getting quite
lengthy here, so if your name should have appeared
here and did not, accept my apologies and be indulgent
with my sun and surprise addled mind!

Once again, than you all who made this such a special
event for me!
