...to Lupercalia?

I know the event isn't until Feb. 17 but since we're going to be out of the
country from Feb 2-11, I figured I better look now.

The event is about 5 hours from my place (providing the weather is good) and
I have two problems. I can't really get off too early on Friday and I can't
drive after dark. I am willing to pay all the gas and to pay for the
lodging.

We have two options. We can drive all the way to the event on Friday night
and get in pretty late but be close to the site. Or we can drive to
Rochester (a bit over 3 hours from my place when the weather's good) and
have a couple of hour trip to and from the event on Saturday.

I had a lot of fun at the event last year and the feast WAS awesome. Plus,
the town that the event is in has a fantastic German meat market!!!

So, anyone up for a road trip with me?!?
