I need a favor (of information) from those with Middle Eastern personas,
involved in Middle Eastern dance or just have general knowledge on Middle
Eastern garb.

 

I have a friend (not local) whose bellydancing troupe is going to be doing
something with a SCA group in her area. The teacher is a former SCAdian and
has told them their normal performance costumes are inappropriate for the
SCA event and that they need to come up with more proper garb for the May
event.

 

Does anyone have any ME garb for beginners, where to buy or other
suggestions I can pass onto her?  Please contact me off-list if you can
help.
