What are you doing on the 12th of May?  Just wondering because I'll  
be having my garage warming party (unless a natural disaster prevents  
completion on the 10th).  Cooking out, potlucky goodness, beer,  
hopefully sun, my kid should be around for at least a bit so you can  
meet him too.  Bring your favorite activities because I still have  
some yard left.  Help me celebrate Spring, my new room mate, my  
spiffy garage and the rebirth of my garden.

What we do depends on who shows up- but the core of the event will  
most likely be eating and grilling.  Bring meat or a dish that you  
want to test on willing victims.  I hope to start around 1pm, but  
anyone who wants to show up early to help get things ready is more  
than welcome.  Also, anyone who wants to bring over fun things to  
show off and do, please contact me- we could set up guitar hero if  
anyone wants to bring that over, or dance dance revolution on the TV  
for instance, or play croquet if anyone has that.    Or if it suits  
us and we're enjoying each other's company we might just chatter in  
my living room.  I have no concret plans except to see as many of my  
friends as possible.
