[Jararvellir] OT: Last minute request for help, will feed!

For many months I have had the materials for making a patio/walkway 
on my driveway - gravel, sand, bricks, you name it. Alas, here it is 
in November, and despite claims, promises, and some efforts, I have 
managed to finish about 1/4 of what I originally wanted to do.  I 
have meant to ask for help for many a month, but now time is VERY 
short, and this coming weekend may be last window of weather that I 
can do this in...

So, if you will all pardon the bandwidth, here is my last minute plea 
for help...


Jack's Walkway Work Weekend Brunch'o'Rama

When:  Sat 3 Nov 2007, from 8 am-12 noon
        Sun 4 Nov 2007, from 8 am - 11:30 am

What: Help Jack with his wonderful but way overschedule and 
overambitious walkway project - and get fed along the way...

Where: Jack's place, 1110 Colby St, Madison  (call for directions, 
number at end of message)

The Details:
I've got to get this done this weekend, so I'm offering to feed any 
and everyone who comes by on Saturday or Sunday morning.  I'll even 
cook to order, if you let me know ahead of time...   Food can be made 
early, mid-morning, or late, as you like.

I have tools and materials, even gloves and chairs to rest in.   All 
you need to bring is yourself and some work clothes (I recommend work 
boots and stuff you aren't afraid to get dirty in...)

The idea is to do the digging and lay gravel on Saturday morning, and 
then lay sand and bricks on Sunday.  (This schedule may change 
depending on if anyone shows up and what the weather is like.)

Yes, this is totally last minute, so if you can't make it, please 
don't feel bad... but if you CAN make it, even for an hour, the help 
would be MOST appreciated!
