[Jararvellir] OT: House Concert this Sunday at our house

Greetings unto those who walk these halls--

I have a strange situation. Just this past weekend I had Thora from
Schattentor (Dray for those that aren't sure who Thora is but probably know
her) contact me to see if we could do a house concert for a friend of hers.
He's a folk musician currently making his home out in the Black Hills. She
is moving to town (the closing on the house that she is buying is soon) and
he offered to drive one of her cars to Madison for her and they hoped that
he could find a gig at such short notice. We've done house concerts before
and said we'd love to do it but there is such short notice that I wasn't
sure we'd be able to get the word out. They said anything I could do was
fine.

I've put together a flyer for the concert but since I can't attach one to
these lists, I'm going to include the basics and if you want a copy of the
flyer, please contact me off-list.

What: House Concert with Steve Thorpe
When: Sunday, November 4 at 7:00pm
Where: 3314 Ridgeway Ave., Madison, WI
Suggested cover is $5.00. House is occupied by two dogs and two cats so
allergens are very much present.
