[Jararvellir] OT: Help with Wars of the Roses research

So, a while ago I thought it would be fun to write a short story about 
someone who was really from period who somehow ended up at an SCA event, and 
his reactions and the reactions of the people at the event, and we have an 
open-ended assignment for my creative writing class, so I decided to do 
that. I wanted him to be involved in some historical event when he got 
transplanted. I finally decided to have him involved in the Wars of the 
Roses and/or Cade's rebellion, and got what information my school library 
had on that and ordered (inter-library loan) some books that looked helpful, 
though I'm afraid they won't get here in time, since my first draft is due 
in about a week and a half. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions of 
resources I should definitely use if I can get my hands on them, or 
resources I should avoid using? If anyone has any information you can give 
me directly or can direct me to something faster than ordering a book, like 
a website, that would be especially helpful.
This isn't exactly a history paper, so I don't need facts so much as little 
details that would make the story more real, and a better sense of what that 
particular time was like.
