Jararvellir does have a loaner garb closet. Our Chatelaine, Lady Wren, just moved. The loaner garb may still reside with Baroness Eithni. You will probably need to arrange ahead of time to borrow an outfit, since the whole collection is not routinely brought to events. Have you heard from whomever has the loaner garb?

Although the SCA is NOT her focus, and she does not take custom orders, the owner has a variety of well-made cloaks and ruanas, as well as a small selection of knives and swords. She may also have some tunics. The prices are not outlandish.jararvellir-request at minstrel.com wrote:

So here are the options I see so far.1. Jararvellir has a Gold Key I can rent a costume from2. Find a clothing making activity and hope I have some awesome latent seamstering skills.3. Buy a $50 costume online. I've seen a few monk robes around. So yeah, if anyone know the answer to the subject it would be much appreciated.-JoshAlan LeddonDas ist nicht tot, was ewig liegt, bis daß die Zeit den Tod besiegt---H.P.
