[Jararvellir] Jararvellir Baronial Thrown Weapons Championship at WW -- **Thursday, 4 PM**

Hear ye, hear ye!

Her Most Piscine Excellency, Eithni ingen Talorgain, will be holding  
a Thrown Weapons tournament to select a new Champion in Thrown  
Weapons for the Barony of Jararvellir.  This tournament will be held  
at Warriors and Warlords, on Thursday at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Residents of Jararvellir are encouraged to enter and compete; others  
may enter and/or compete at the discretion of Her Excellency.

So that you may prepare yourselves, know that the tournament will  
test each contestant's skills in knife, axe, and spear.  Contestants  
who do not have their own weapons will be allowed to use weapons from  
the Barony's "loaner" stock, or to share weapons of other  
contestants, if they are willing.

The tournament will start with an Elimination Round, where throwers  
will show their skill with axe, knife, and spear.  Her Excellency  
will then select those who will continue to later rounds, based on  
skill, chivalry or whatever other criteria she deems suitable.

Know that the thrown weapons field will be open at 1 o'clock on the  
afternoon of the tournament, so that contestants may practice and  
familiarize themselves with the field.
