Greetings to the list;
Hefdharfrú Eyja asked that this go out so that
everyone would have the appropriate amount of time to
start planning garb for the spring event. I'm *sure*
Beth will be along shortly to correct what isn't my
area of expertise. ;) This is from some quick
calculations and research, based on 45" wide fabric.
If all you can get is 60", we'll rework patterns.
For a kurosode (the mid-thigh length top)- 3x shoulder
to mid-thigh. Averages 3yds.
For Hakama (pants)- 3-4 yards.
for a kimono (the long verison of the kurosode)- 5 yds
In Service,
Sisuile
