[Toraerie] Toys for Tots Tournament recap

Greetings to all of Nordskogen!

The Toys for Tots Tournament was held at the Baronial December Folk Moot last night and I feel safe to say that it was a great sucess!

Her Excellency Khadijah was joined by his Highness Sir Lars and 2 representatives from the Marines who sat and watched the tournament.  The Tournament itself was for both armored and rapier combatents and I estimate that there were over a dozen fighters participating throughout the night.  Lord Tosten was the ring master for the heavy community and HL Teffen ran the rapier list with HL Petranella sitting watch at the list table.

Much amusement was had by all in using toys to "influence" the outcome of the fights.  Of course the true winners are the children who benefit from this charity and we collected 197 toys last night.  

Thanks to all who came to fight!  Thanks to all who came to watch!  Thanks to all who brought toys!  I'm hoping that this tradition continues and we do this next year.
