[Toraerie] Largess competition and Patronage

Greetings to the Barony and Cantons,

With the recent discussion of patronage on the Northshied Hall it ocurred to me that sponsoring something, or supporting something is a very easy thing to do.  For lack of better terms I have been the patron (by the generousity of TE's) of the largess competition that Nordskogen holds each reign.  As patron I advertise it, look for participants and award the prize to the person chosen by the populace.  TE's receive the items that are made and then present it to the Crown at Their Coronation or Their Crown Tournament.  Nordskogen looks good, Their Majesties are happy and the participant gets a nifty prize from me as thanks.

Speaking of prizes....this coming Wednesday November 7th I will be bringing two prizes to distribute to past winners: Baroness Kadijah and Lady Constanza.  If you have wondered what it is that people receive for winning the largess competition you will find out Wednesday.  

Reminder: the next largess competition will be in March so start thinking now what you can make to support Their Highness Lars and Mary during Their reign.
