Hello all.

This is Angriff and I have some news.  This is coming on the eve of our
event, and I realize this was nothing but bad timing, but I guess I wasn't
able to keep everything going the way it was.

Put simply without going into details, life happened.  Life is happening
hard.  I told a few people the specifics and if you want to know the
specifics you can ask me, but suffice it to say I won't be able to make it to
Saturday's event.  It's just not possible for me.

I'm sorry that I've been a  lackluster Senechal thus far, but it's largely
due to those "life issues" I mentioned.  Beth and Gudrun agreed to be
'Senechal deputies' for me throughout the term and I hope that can suffice
for the event.  I realize a lot of people put a lot of effort into making the
event work, and I'm sincerely sorry if I'm letting those people and our group
down.  I feel especially bad about this for Beth's sake since she has worked
above and beyond anything I could have.  Please believe me when I say I have
a good reason for not attending.

Thank you for your understanding, and once again, I apologize for this severe
inconvienience.
