[Toraerie] Thursday evening and the Classics Club

I don't want to detract from the bardic, however I thought this may be of interest to some folks in Tor Aerie.

  We're in prime Classics Club season right now and preparing for the Halloween Party and Homecoming Parade. Here's our next three upcoming events:
  
  
  1. Rock out with your sewing machine: Thursday, October 25th from 5:30 to 9 pm in Nicholson 201
  The Classics Club is going to crush the competition in this year's Homecoming Parade. That's right. Crush. The. Competition. The All-Star Classics Club Kazoo Band is breaking the Golden Eagle Standard out of storage and marching as Roman citizens and Spartan warriors in tunics and shields and capes....and this means YOU NEED A COSTUME! Bring your sheet (or whatever else you want sewn) to the meeting and we'll outfit you in a tunic or toga. Don't worry, you don't need mad sewing skills - tailors are on hand to work their sewing magic.
   
  It could be a good opportunity to mingle with and/or assist some like minded folks.
   
  btw:  You should all be very proud (but short of hubris proud) of your event last weekend.  It was a blast.
