[Toraerie] possible shoe making class

Hello everyone!

So we have the possibility of having a turnshoe making class. This class
would require three meetings (most likely then three weeks for us) and would
cost $10 per person. The scheduling problem comes in where if we were going
to do this class completely during the school year we would have to have 2
of the sessions on the Monday before finals and the Monday of finals week.
The other option is to have the class in the summer. I leave the decision up
to a vote of you guys especially because I highly doubt anyone will want to
have a meeting the week of finals. If no one gives me input I will decide
myself and you're just going to have to live with it so you should all vote.
Below is the description of the class which  would be taught by Lucia.

*Make Your Own Medieval Turnshoes*

Learn basic medieval shoemaking by making a pair of turnshoes.

You will keep the tools so you can continue to make shoes! (for a small fee
$10)

*This class will require time outside of the classes to complete the shoes.
*

Help will be available for at least one night outside of class.



*Syllabus *

First class:  Measuring and making patterns.  Learning about leather.
 Cutting leather and soles.

Second class:  Sewing techniques. Begin Sewing.

Third class:  Sewing and finishing. Dying and decoration techniques.
