PS -- there are two Medieval Studies things happening this week, for those
interested. On Wednesday is a workshop (free pizza) about "Ornate Visions
of Knowledge and Power: the 14th-century Bou-Inania Madrasa at Fez, Morocco"
(Nolte 235, 12:30). On Thursday is the colloquium (also free food
afterwards) about The Obscure Figure: Word and Image in Late Medieval
Encyclopedism (Nolte 140, 4:00).
