[Toraerie] Couple of items from Baronial Seneschal

 Greetings, all!

Eyja, thanks for sending out the link to the reporting schedule for
everyone!
I just wanted to bring your attention to a couple of great events happening
in the Barony this fall, both of which could be great for newcomers.  If
there is interest in attending but rides are a problem, please make sure to
contact folks in the Barony to help out!

SCA101 is occuring on October 18.  Ellen and Belle are working hard to make
this an opportunity for new people to learn the ropes, and for SCA vets to
try new things.  It's a garb-optional event (much like an Officers Day
event), so it may be a great chance to help any newcomers that join Tor
Aerie in the fall get in the groove and have a great day of learning.
Clothiers Seminar on Nov 8 is a day devoted to garb, and is always a fun and
educational event.

Also, Anna -- congrats on being the new Tor Aerie seneschal!  If you could
contact me off-list at marwen42 at gmail dot com, I'd appreciate it!
